About the Artist

Ben Green is a native of the Windy City. Born in 1990 they grew up watching 90's cartoons and reading Peanuts comics.

Like their inspirational protagonist, Charlie Brown, Ben is short in stature but not in heart. As a member of the LGBT community and a person with a learning disability, they aren’t a stranger to challenges. Fighting and persevering is second nature to them.

Ben graduated from Bennington College with a B.A. in Visual Arts and Animation. They currently attend Savannah College of Art and Design for Sequential Art with a minor in Storyboarding and animation.

Their goal is to utilize art as a tool to educate on disabilities, LGBT/Queer issues, and beyond through narrative. Stories, especially visual ones, can bridge barriers that no other art form can.

With the brush of rainbows and written words the sky is the limit.
